Why this counter exists
Counting sounds simple until it goes wrong. Most online counters stop at a plus and a minus button. This one was built around the moments where counting actually breaks.
A thumb slips and adds an extra one
Undo steps back one change at a time, even after a reset.
The phone screen goes dark mid-count
The screen stays awake while you count, on supported browsers.
Your hands are full
Count with a presentation clicker, page turner or foot pedal.
Someone asks for the numbers later
Every count has a time, and the history exports as a CSV.
How it works
No accounts, no installs, no waiting. Just open the page and count.
Runs in your browser
Nothing to download. After the first visit it keeps working offline, and you can install it like an app.
Stays on your device
Counters, targets and history are saved in your browser’s local storage. They are never sent to this website or anyone else.
Built to be fast
A lightweight page with self-hosted fonts, so the counter is ready as soon as it appears, even on a slow connection.
What we promise
Three rules that guide every change to the counter.
- 01
The counter comes first
Nothing will ever be placed above it or in front of it.
- 02
Counting stays free
Every counting feature is free, with no limit on counters.
- 03
Your data stays yours
If a future feature, like syncing between devices, ever needs an account, it will be optional and clearly explained.
Who is behind it
Tally Counter is an independent project, designed, built and maintained in-house, with one goal: make a single tool work really well. Ideas from people who use it decide what gets built next.
